Skoda Rapid 
After months of speculation, it is now clear that the new Skoda Sedan that will be based on the VW Vento platform, will now be called the Skoda Lauretta. The news, shared by Hormazd of Autocar has now spread like wild fire and it is said that the Lauretta will make it to showrooms by October.

Honda New City 
The new look City has been launched in the other South East Asian markets and as has been the case with Honda products earlier, it will now come to the Indian market as well. Though at first glance the new City doesn't really look new, there are a lot of changes to the vehicle nonetheless!

Toyota New Fortuner 
Toyota recently has showcased an upgraded version of the Fortuner in other South East Asian markets and the same vehicle has been spotted at a dealership in New Delhi. The new Fortuner that will also come with an automatic transmission option.

Mahindra Mini Xylo 
The latest buzz in the Indian small car environment is of the Mini Xylo - Mahindra is building a smaller version of its premier MUV Xylo for Indian market and the vehicle is currently undergoing real world testing around the country. The car is expected to come with a 1.5 litre diesel engine and instead of being a spacious 7 seater MUV, it will be a 5 seater with two small jump seats at the back.

Renault Fluence Diesel E4 
Current Renault sells the Fluence in two engine variants but each of these come only in one trim level. Customers have given a feedback that the current diesel model is of the lower trim variety and hence does misses out on lot of features that the curren.

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque 
Premium SUV car maker Land Rover has been famous for building big strong powerful SUV's with high fuel consumption. Evoque is the first step to a carbon free enviornment by Land Rover - Evoque is the first initiative by building it a Hybrid vehicle. The car runs on 2.0 litre turbo charged engine and in the premium luxury SUV segment.

Tata Nano Diesel 
Hatchback, Small, Manual Tata on its way to give India its smallest diesel engined car. The Nano petrol hasnt really done wonders in terms of sales but with rising petrol prices and an expected 25kmpl from the Nano diesel, this might just be a best seller for Tata!

Tata New Grande 
After improving the Manza and the Vista range wherein Tata also removed the Indigo and Indica brand names respectively, the company is now working on getting the facelift of the Sumo Grande into the market. It will do away with the Sumo brand name also and will be launched in the festive season at the same price tag

Hyundai New i20 
For the first time in the life of the Hyundai i20 in India, its sales have started sliding. The competition (new Swift, re-priced Jazz etc) has caught up and hence its time Hyundai did something to the i20. The new i20 is currently undergoing testing around the world and we feel that Hyundai might surprise everyone by launching the new version by the end of 2011.

Maruti Cervo 
India's leading car maker Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch more than a dozen cars in the India in the next 5 years and the Cervo is one of them. This compact small hatchback should hit the roads by the end of this year. The 5-door modern looking car will be equipped with Maruti's KB10 engine or Maruti might also plonk the smaller 800cc unit that is seen on the Alto. Expect the Cervo to have a new name in India.

Chevrolet CN 100 Van 
The first vehicle in India from the SAIC-GM-Wuling partnership will be the Wuling CN-100 van that will be launched here under the Chevrolet brand. To be made at the Talegaon plant, it will carry a price tag of under Rs 6 lakh and come with a FIAT derived 1.3-litre multi-jet engine.

Maruti New 800 
India's largest selling car, the Maruti 800 is now doing very less numbers due to non-availability in metro cities and better rivals. However, Maruti will soon launch the all new 800 later this year.

Volkswagen New Touareg 
Volkswagen has been selling the super luxury SUV, the Touareg in the Indian market for several years but it hasnt really been doing great numbers. However, by the end of 2011, the company will be launching the new upgraded 2011 version which should finally bring in good sales.

Chevrolet New Tavera 
The current Tavera\'s engine doesn\'t meet the BS-IV emission and hence it is not sold in the major metro cities - this has in-turn effected the sales which have been dropping. The new Tavera though will have a new engine and slight body changes as well - it is due for launch by December 2011.

Skoda Fabia Combi 
MUV/Minivan, Luxury, Manual Skoda has ambitious plans for the emerging car market of India. The company is planning to launch Fabia Combi at a price less than Rs 10 lakh next year in the country. The consumers in the country are looking for better cars that could deliver comfort, mileage and performance. Fabia Combi is likely to create its own place in the heart of Indian car lovers. Ford Fusion might pose a challenge to Fabia Combi in the Indian market. Fabia Combi will also be competing with Tata Indigo Marina and Chevrolet Optra SRV.

Audi A5 
Sedan, Luxury, Automatic Audi is planning to launch its new 2012 Audi A5 Sportback in the India market soon. The Audi A5 will somewhat fill in the gap between the A4 and the A6 and will create a new niche in the Indian market just like Audi did with the A7 recently. Being a Sportback, it will offer the best of both the worlds - a sedan and an estate version. Expect high levels of equipment, features and ofcourse comfort.

Maruti New Dzire 
After bringing in its New Swift, Maruti will soon upgrade the Dzire for the Indian market. The new Dzire will be built on the new platform used on the recently launched all-new platform and will have an overall length of less than 4 metres. Same engine options as the new Swift will be available on the Dzire as well. Expected
